Class Description

Climate change might mean that we can grow both heat tolerant cultivars of traditional food crops over a longer season but also experiment with more unusual crops like turmeric, agretti, and orach.  Kirsten Conrad, Extension Agent for Arlington and the City of Alexandria will provide tips and tricks for cultivation of food crops in hotter, wetter, and sometimes drier conditions.
